Financial Controller

Our client is a pre-IPO healthcare industry leader, based in Beijing. They have received funding from an international venture fund that will accelerate its already fast-paced growth. They now have a need for a talented Financial Controller to help achieve the company's next milestone.

Job Description

The Financial Controller reports to the CEO and Board of Directors. He/she will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting and financial metrics planning and analysis. More specifically, he/she will:

.         Ensure all of the company's financial reporting complies with statutory requirements

.         Prepare financial reports in IFRS

.         Manage budgeting and forecasting

.         Perform rigorous financial analysis that includes feedback and trend analysis for management and investors

.         Build and implement effective internal controls and continuous process improvement

.         Lead execution of M&A deals, exercising control procedures for post-acquisition integration

.         Work with Big 4 auditors to complete annual IFRS audit

.         Manage, coach and further develop the existing finance team

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capability, excellent communication and presentation and skills. He/she is self-motivated and able to contribute to a dynamic leadership team. He/she will have:

.         Over 8 years of relevant experience, of which at least 4 years will be in a management position of broad responsibility

.         In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, as well as Chinese accounting and tax regulations

.         Strong experience managing the budgeting process

.         IPO experience or working experiences at an overseas listed company is a big plus

.         CPA or ACCA designation is preferred
